The Africast 2010 Programmes Organising Committee has decided to give more producers a chance to match their story-telling abilities with those their peers across the continent.
Rising from a meeting Tuesday, June 29, the Committee announced that it was moving the submission deadline forward by one month.
Producers desiring to enter their productions for the competition now have till 1600 hours (GMT +1) on August 30, to submit their entries.
The Programmes Competition Organising committee urged producers from every part of Africa to be part of the Africast Experience in Abuja, October 19 to 21, 2010.
The Committee declared that if the results of Africast 2008 edition of the competition were anything to go by, this year’s was sure to be a tickler, and invited African Producers who believe in themselves to visit the Africast website, www.africastabuja.com , and click on the quick-links for Programme Competition to read the rules and enter for the competition.
